Hormones like testosterone is by far the most important sex hormone in men.

In small quantities, it is also in the woman. Testosterone is produced in the so-called Leydig cells of the testicle. In both sexes, the adrenal glands also produce limited levels of testosterone. The testes are controlled by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus in the midbrain. The pituitary gland releases follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and interstitial cell-stimulating hormone (ICSH) into the bloodstream. The latter is primarily responsible for testosterone production, while the former controls the formation of sperm - using testosterone.

In the Tao there are exercises for men and women that activate and balance the hormonal balance and increase the sexual power.

In the Tao Yoga Basic Course we activate organs and glands, as male and female sex glands stimulate their function and create natural balance and attraction.
